Price note: Prices in this guide were indicative when written. Check the product page for the current price and availability.
The best Skmei watch for children combines 3 things: water resistance (to withstand play), lightweight on the wrist, and easy for the child to read. Prices in Egypt start from 599 EGP, and all are original with dealer warranty. In this guide, we will help you choose the most suitable one for your child's age.
What makes a good children's watch stand out?
- Water resistant — The child will play and wash their hands with it on, so it must be durable.
- Lightweight and comfortable — A soft silicone strap that won't bother small wrists.
- Clear display — Large numbers help the child learn to read time.
- Vibrant colors — Encourage the child to wear it.
- Durable — Can withstand drops and bumps.
Selection by Age
| Age | Most Suitable |
|---|---|
| 4–7 years | Digital with large numbers and bright colors — to learn time from |
| 8–12 years | Sports with functions (stopwatch, alarm) — they love to experiment with it |
| 13+ (teenager) | Large sports model similar to adult watches — style is important at this age |
Tips before buying
- Choose 50-meter water resistance — Children and water are inseparable.
- Silicone strap, not leather — easier to clean and more durable.
- Avoid small parts for children under 3 years old.
- Let the child choose the color — increases the likelihood they will wear it.
Why is Skmei a practical choice for children?
Children break, dirty, and lose things — so it's logical to buy a watch that is reasonably priced and durable instead of an expensive one that will break. Skmei provides exactly that, with a dealer warranty in case of a manufacturing defect.
